Silence is not so bad after all
So.. this was my second “keep your mouth shut” day at the school.. since I’m allowed to talk with teachers I could do my presentation, but I am not going to work this weekend. So yei.. more holidays for me. Why? Well.. I called my boss and the conversation was like this
– Hey, boss. This is Helsa. Do I have to go to work tomorrow or am I fired?
– Hey, Helsa. Ha ha.. that’s a good question. Peter is really mad at you. Well.. let’s do this – you take two more days off and come in next week.
So I guess I’m not fired after all.. I just have to take even more holidays😀 Then again.. you never know what Juris will say next week. So.. I’m already ready to seek for a new job.. I think I’m going to be a translator some time soon.. Latvian to English or English to Latvian.. could even try some French, I don’t really mind.. either version.
At the school everything’s nice and clean.. my course mates are really cool with me being silent.. they’re still telling me stories, playing games with me and otherwise enjoying my company. If I need to answer any question.. I show it in sign language or if that’s not working and the situation is a bit too complicated.. I’m just writing the answer on paper or on phone. I’m keeping quiet till next Thursday.. then 10 days will be over and I’ll be able to speak to my friends again.. :))
