Bacalhau Com Natas

The ultimately delicious Portuguese national dinner.

I got this recipe from Diogo Moreira during the Youth Exchange project, just after the Portuguese team cooked it. I literally fell in love with the meal and I said to myself either I’m going to get the recipe or I’m moving to Portu. It’s the best food ever! Even if you do not like fish, you’ll love this dish 😉

So… you need Bacalhau com natas

  • Whip Cream
  • Cod (dry – if you have)
  • Potatoes
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Bread (almost in powder)
  • Cheese
You fry the potatoes in small pieces and boil the cod. Then in another place you fry the onion and the garlic. You join it all together in a big steel or glass thing and add the whip cream.
You add on the top some bread and cheese. And put it in oven for a while (20/30min)
